Arknights Endfield Wuling Power Guide: Battery Options
Securing a steady power source is the first challenge you face when expanding your factory into Wuling in Arknights Endfield. Unlike your earlier operations in Valley IV, you cannot simply rely on the same battery production line because the raw materials are different. To power your Wuling AIC, you have three distinct options: use Originium ore in Thermal Banks, transfer excess batteries from Valley IV via Metastorage Transfer, or build a local Xiranite battery production line.
Originium Thermal Banks (Quick but Inefficient)
The simplest short-term method is feeding Originium ore into Thermal Banks placed near your PAC/Sub-PAC Core. Set your Core’s output ports to Originium, connect the ports to the banks, and each bank provides a small boost to your base’s maximum power capacity. Originium ore beds are abundant around Wuling City and the Qingbo Stockade, making mining straightforward. However, this setup is significantly less efficient than even a basic battery system in Valley IV—it will keep your factory running for basic operations but won’t support heavy expansion.
Metastorage Transfer (Emergency Stopgap)
Alternatively, you can transfer surplus batteries from Valley IV to Wuling using the Metastorage Transfer feature. This option only becomes available once Valley IV reaches Development Level 12. To get there, you must complete outpost quests, upgrade resource stations like Recycling Stations, and place mining rigs on mineral beds—a significant investment of time and resources. Once unlocked, transfers happen automatically at the top of each hour, but the number of batteries per batch is limited. This method is best treated as an emergency backup rather than a long-term solution.
