Bear Trap Kingshot: Lethality & Joiner Tips

The Bear Trap is a 30-minute alliance event in Kingshot that rewards you with free Forgehammers and resources based on total damage dealt. Maximum rewards unlock at 1.2 billion damage, so optimizing every aspect of your setup is critical for mid-to-advanced players aiming to top the leaderboard.

Why Lethality Matters More Than Attack

The damage formula uses both Attack and Lethality as multipliers, but Lethality is typically much lower and harder to boost. That makes Lethality the more impactful stat to prioritize. Focus your research, hero gear, and Governor Charms on Lethality rather than raw Attack — small gains here yield disproportionately larger damage increases.

Joiner Skill Stacking Mechanics

Only four additional hero skills from rally joiners count. Expedition skills stack additively, while Exclusive (widget) skills can be additive or multiplicative. The best known joiner combo is 2 Chenko + 2 Amane, which outperforms four Chenkos by about 12.5%. Key joiner heroes include Chenko (25% damage at skill level 5, must be first hero and among the first four joiners), Amadeus (similar skill, best saved for joining rather than launching), Yeonwoo (25% Lethality at 4★), and Margot. If the rally already has four DamageUp heroes, send a blue hero from the Drill Camp instead to avoid overriding locked skills. Verify setup via the yellow flag icon on the rally page.
